Issues which are discussed in detail in the booklet include
- cross contamination
- specified risk material (SRM)
- animal by-products
- traceability
- beef labelling
- fish labelling
This booklet is a great reference point for butchers within the retail sector and which will assist then in meeting their legal requirement to manage food safely.
Through its members the EHOA are actively involved in promoting an awareness of current and emerging environmental health issues. The production of the this FREE Booklet is an example of how the EHOA is continually trying to promote, educate, advise and heighten the awareness of Environmental Health issues among the public and the profession.
