The Environmental Health Officers’ Association Yearbook 2010/ 2011 edition was launched at 3.00pm on Friday the 25th of March at the EHOA Headquarters, Heraghty House,Bray Co. Wicklow. The yearbook was officially launched by Mr. Gavin Maguire, Assistant National Director of Environemental Health & Emergency Management.

The EHOA were delighted to present the worthy charity “Touch Shannonside” with this years’ John Shelley Bursary of €5000 in Dublin on the 3rd of December. The charity was nominated for the bursary from the North Western Branch of the EHOA by Ray McLoughlin.
Shane Keane Chairman of the EHOA was delighted to present Karen Conroy with the Environmental Health Student Award at the Clarion Hotel on the 3rd of December 2010.
On the 19th of November the EHOA officially launched the revised Primary Course in Food Safety and brand new DVD Food Safety 4U.
The highlight of the AGM which took place on the 16th of October in Drogheda was the election of two new board members, Catriona Stack as Deputy Chairperson and Noel Donnelly as Honorary Treasurer
This years Annual General Meeting for the EHOA will take place on Saturday the 16th of October 2010 at 11am in The d hotel, Scotch Hall, Drogheda, County Louth, Ireland.
The EHOA were delighted to invite Professor Hugh Pennington as our key note speaker at our educational event entitled Risk Assessment in Focus. This event took place on the 5th of October 2010 in the impressive Aviva Stadium.
