The EHOA is a registered charity, dependency on the support of our members is paramount. It is only through the continued involvement of our membership that the EHOA can continue to promote Environmental Health and to educate, advise and heighten the awareness of Environmental Health issues among the public and the profession.
Applications for membership are proposed at central council meetings. Decision to award membership rests with central council and criteria for membership is contained within the Articles of Association.

Full Membership
Appropriately qualified persons holding a BSc. in Environmental Health is elegabe for full membership.
Fellowship may be awarded on merit or on submission of an acceptable thesis.
Associate Membership
Associate membership is available to suitably persons holding some appointment in connection with Environmental Health or have an interest in the field of Environmental Health once approved by the Central Council. Associate membership is available to persons working outside the profession or domiciled in other countries. They shall not have the right to vote.
Student Membership
Student members shall be persons who are at least 16 years of age and who are studying with a view to their ultimate qualification as a Health Inspector, Environmental Health Officer or Environmental Health Inspector. They shall not have a right to vote.
