All Ireland Environmental Health Forum "Healthy People, Healthy Places" May 2012

The All Island Environmental Health Forum entitled "Healthy People, Healthy Places" takes place on the 17th and 18th of May 2012  in Radisson Blu Farnham Hotel, Co. Cavan. This years forum is packed with interesting topics ranging from environmental impacts to emerging issues. 
This conference is jointly organised by EHOA and CIEH NI Region.

Calories on Menus in Ireland

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland today announces a national consultation to seek opinions on the best way of putting calorie information on menus in Ireland. This is an initiative Minister Reilly announced late last year by writing to Fast Food Outlets and Cafes requesting that they consider including calories on their menus. Feedback is requested from the Environmental Health Profession.
