Awards Ceremony 2012

On behalf of the EHOA, Chairperson Caitriona Stack welcomed members and friends to the EHOA 2012 Awards Day which took place on Friday the 7th of December in Dublin.  

The evening was very eventful with a number of awards and presentations including former Chairperson AnnMarie Part receiving th highest accolade from the Association the Fellowship.

Other presentations for the evening included the John Shelley Bursary and Environmental Health Student of the Year Award. Those present included Association officers, staff, current members, retired members, honorary members, student members,former Chairpersons and fellows, those from outside the profession, the young and the not so young, family and friends. Guidance on Management of Infectious Disease Published by HSE

The HSE Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has published extensive guidance on the management of infectious intestinal diseases (IID) for use in Public Health and will be a useful resource for Environmental Health Officers.
